Caves of Drach

Based in the popular tourist town of Porto Cristo, which is nestled on Majorca’s glorious South-East coast, the Caves of Drach are roughly an hour’s drive from Club MAC Alcudia. These Caves are some of the most remarkable on the Island, so they’ve become one of Majorca’s hottest tourist attractions!
The Caves of Drach are 25metres deep and 1,200meters wide, featuring a range of majestic stalactites hanging down from the ceilings! The attraction’s most impressive feature is famous underground lake. Called ‘Lake Martel,’ it is considered one of the largest underground lakes in the world!
Visit the site
You’ll find a tonne of things to see and do at the Caves of Drach. The first thing you’ll notice on entering is ‘the flag,’ a spectacular rock formation. Go deeper and you’ll get to see sites such as the baths of Dianna, which possess some of the most turquoise waters you’ll ever see, an incredible formation known as the ‘snow-capped mountain’ and Lake Martel, which you can travel across by boat trip!
The Caves of Drach also have a wide range of great tourist facilities. If you feel like taking a break from exploring this incredible geological formation, you could have some lunch at one of the site’s picnic areas, or grab a bite at its bar-café.
