Thursday night at Club MAC is Spanish night! - Club Mac

When in Spain… Thursday night’s menu at all three restaurants at Club MAC Alcudia is our favourite of the week – Spanish night! You can try all kinds of local dishes and Spanish ingredients. But if you don’t fancy that, don’t worry, there are lots of options for all tastes.

Let’s start at the beginning. If you fancy soup to start your meal on Spanish night, you’ll be tucking into traditional garlic soup. The show cooking stations are crammed with all kinds of goodies, including tongue with capers, Frit Mariner, which is made with seafood, fennel and vegetables.

Authentic dishes available for Spanish night

Or you could try pork loin with mushrooms, callos (made with tripe), pica pica (made with octopus), battered squid, potatoes in a spicy sauce, tomatoes with Serrano ham, various tapas dishes, including fresh cheese and salmon, guacamole with nachos, hummus with cucumber and carrot, chistorra with mustard (a cured Spanish sausage), goats cheese with apricot jam, mini hamburger, and seafood salpicon (a mixed salad with seafood). Vegetarian options include Spanish omelette with onion, tumbet (Mallorcan aubergines, peppers and potatoes in a tomato sauce).

If you’re in the mood for a meaty main, try the Catalan chicken with prunes and red wine, or rich roast beef in red wine. Fish dishes include marinated shark, and over in Chef’s Corner you’ll find a big dish of Paella, macaroni and pork shank. Salads available include the usual mix of green leaves and crudites, along with chicken, squid and sauces.

Kids corner, side dishes and dessert

The kids’ corner is packed with grilled fish, frankfurters, sausages, pasta with Bolognese sauce, steamed potatoes, Julienne potatoes and steamed corn. And over in the Special corner you’ll find loads of cheeses, including Manchego, Mahon and Mallorcan, along with Chorizo, Sobrasada (Mallorcan cured sausage), Camaiot (local pork sausage), olives, tomato, garlic, sea fennel and chilli.

Side dishes include pisto (a mix of aubergines, onion and peppers in a tomato sauce), green beans, French fries, potatoes and boiled rice.

When you’ve gone back for more, and you’re finally ready for dessert, we have lots of special Spanish puddings on offer. Try Torrijas (the Spanish version of French toast), tocinilllo de cielo (a kind of custard made with sugar and egg yolks), pineapple and cream, chocolate cookies, profiteroles with whipped cream, chocolate pudding, Santiago almond cake, cream and custard mille-feuille, butter cake, yoghurts, fruit or cheese and crackers.

And we haven’t forgotten the babies of the family either. Although there are no specifically Spanish baby purees on our menu, you can choose from chicken, veal, lamb or fish, all with vegetables. Or there is a veggie only option. All of the baby foods are made freshly in our kitchens using local ingredients and 100% olive oil. Just let one of our members of staff know if you’d like one when you arrive for your meal.

We hope you enjoy all of the Spanish foods on offer on Thursday nights. Some of our favourites are in there!
