Your Guide to Palma Airport

Your Guide to Palma Airport - Club Mac

When fly out to Majorca to enjoy an amazing holiday at Club MAC Alcudia, you’ll land in Palma Airport. As the major gateway into Majorca, you need to know what to expect when you reach Palma Airport to ensure you start your summer Balearic getaway off right!

Getting to Majorca

If you’re holidaying in Majorca this year, you’ll need to book a flight to the Island. Depending on where you are in the UK, it takes around two to three hours to jet out from the British Isles to Majorca. You can enter the Island easily, because there are no short-term stay visa restrictions on EU nationals.

Palma Airport

You’ll land in Palma Airport, which is just 8km south of the Island’s capital city Palma. Following Madrid and Barcelona Airports, Palma Airport is the third largest in Spain and the Island’s major air travel hub. Palma Airport gets pretty busy; it has handled more than 25m visitors since 2009, make sure you follow any signs in the Airport so you don’t get lost in the hustle and bustle!

Arriving in Palma

Palma has four terminals – A, B, C and D. Terminal A only handles domestic flights, so unless you plan to do some travelling in Spain while you’re in Majorca, you’ll probably never see it. Terminals B, C and D handle international flights, so you’ll probably arrive in one of these areas once you reach Majorca. Then all you need to do is pass baggage claim and the proper security checks and you’ll be able to head out from Palma Airport and explore the Island!

Getting to Club MAC

You’ll need to find a way to get from Palma Airport to Club MAC Alcudia, which is about a 40 minute drive in a car. You have quite a few options here. You can take a bus or a taxi from the Airport to Palma and then travel to Alcudia. You could also rent a car and drive from Palma Airport to our resort.
