We’ve covered breakfast and lunch menus at Club MAC Alcudia in previous blogs. Over the next few posts we’re going to look at our dinner menus. Every evening at Club MAC you can enjoy a vast array of food at the hotel buffets. And each night has a different theme.
On Saturdays it’s Italian night, and we’ll be looking at what you can expect below. For full menu details of every night’s menu, download the Club MAC app. It’s available for Android and iPhone, and also provides lots of info on entertainment, things to do, and much more.
Saturday night is Italian night at Club MAC Alcudia
Every Saturday is Italian night for our buffets, which can be found in each of our three hotels: Saturno, Jupiter and Marte. You can choose to eat in any of the restaurants. Tuesday nights are Carnival themed, on Wednesday nights dinner is Chinese themed, Thursdays is Spanish night, Friday is Gala dinner night, Saturday is Hindu themed, and Sundays Tex Mex.
As you can see, there is plenty of choice on offer throughout the week. You’ll also find plenty of favourites served every night, including the kids’ corner with their very own choices.
What’s on the menu for Italian night?
Start with traditional minestrone soup, and then head over to the show cooking counter. Here you’ll find plenty of different pastas, Italian sauces, ravioli with sage butter, pesto, gnocchi and a selection of pizzas, including four-cheese, Margherita and bolognese.
Vegetarian options include spinach cannelloni and courgette parmigiana, which offer plenty of Italian flavours without the meat. In the special corner, you’ll find plenty of Parma ham, salami and various cheeses, including mortadella and mozzarella.
Meaty mains include chicken cacciatora, roast pork in muscatel sauce and traditional lasagne. For a side salad, add in some mixed crudites, crab sticks, chicken pieces and a choice of sauces.
Chef’s corner and kids’ corner
Over in Chef’s corner there is roast loin of pork, roast potatoes or a choice of fish or meat risotto. Side dishes include Sicilian spring onions, peperonata (sauted onions and peppers), green beans in an anchovy sauce, creamed potatoes, fries and boiled rice.
And the kids can get stuck into grilled chicken, squid rings, British sausage, meaty cannelloni, crinkle cut fried potatoes, mashed potatoes and steamed corn.
If you’d like one of Club MAC’s baby purees, you can choose from chicken and veg, veal and veg, lamb and veg, mixed veg or fish and veg. They’re all freshly made using the best, organic ingredients, 100% olive oil and no preservatives. Ask the restaurant staff on the night if you would like one of these.
Desserts on Italian night
If you have any appetite left after eating your fill of everything on offer for Italian night, head over to our dessert buffet. Here you’ll find tiramisu, panna cotta, peaches with cream, vanilla mouse, coconut cake, chocolate cake, chocolate cookies, vanilla cream, profiteroles with cream, vanilla custard, apple tart, cream roly poly, peach tartlets, yoghurts, a choice of fresh fruit and cheese and crackers.
We do cater for food allergies. Just make sure you notify reception before dinner time or have a word with the staff on the night. Look out for future blogs that will detail our other evening buffets. One thing’s for sure – no-one will go hungry while on holiday at Club MAC!
